Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Play it again and again and again…

That’s what I keep doing with the sophomore album “Ray Guns Are Not Just the Future” from The Bird and The Bee. You’ve probably heard this quirky group without even knowing it since they’ve had their music in the SATC Movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Grey’s Anatomy. Described as “heavily influenced by Brazilian Tropicalia and 60’s jazz vocals” their sound makes me feel like a trip to the Space Age Lounge for an Atomic-tini. One part Swinging London and one part cocktail shaker cool; it’s impossible to listen only once.
Hey just discovered The Bird and The Bee are playing March 29 at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica. Tickets are still available. I’ll be there channeling my own inner Emma Peel. http://thebroadstage.com/pages/bird_bee.php

dope band… thanks for sharing their show date!
I think it’s sold out, but if you find tickets… I really want to go!
Yes! I heard about them on NPR, thought they were fascinating, and promptly forgot all about it. Thanks for the post – this time I will remember to look them up on i-tunes.
