Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Build-a-brunch
Paisley Petunia and Co. had a really fabulous Easter brunch yesterday.
The menu went like this:
Yum-o. It was all homemade (ok except the ham but still) and it was all so good.
It was a gorgeous day in LA and while we didn’t dine al fresco we did make our table feel a little like eating in a spring time garden, Paisley Petunia style. And, I finally got to use the pink depression glass plates I found at the Rose Bowl Flea Market with Eddie Ross, so that made me happy.

It is a lot of work cleaning up all the china and crystal (it’s all hand-wash/hand-dry in my house) but my theory is that all the stuff we got for the wedding and all that stuff that sits in the china cabinet ought to be used as much as possible; so we decked out the table, threw together some bright spring florals and tah-dah…we had a gorgeous tablescape. Add in loads of delicious food, plenty of champers and a table full of good friends and you have a fabulous party.
J and I just love entertaining at home and this was a perfect way to kick-off the C + J party season.
If you would like the recipe from anything on the menu let me know and we would be happy to share. If you’ve got something delicious up your sleeve send it our way and we’ll give it a whirl.

I can attest the menu and all creations were amazing.
Thank you c & j for hosting such a nice soiree.
Thank you to my lovely mother for the pastry recipe.
All that champers made for the most lovely afternoon nap xoxo
What a beautifully laid table. Did you mention the cupcakes on Twitter? haha Or am I just cupcake-obsessed? Either way I’d love the cupcake recipes.
how lovely!
