Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!

I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.

It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Wine a little

Recession Fighting-Tax Day is Over Wine Tasting! Thursday, April 16th at the Bluebird Café in Culver City.  Join your fellow Angelenos for a little post tax day wine-ing! Comiserate over the tax man’s heavy hand while tossing back some vino and vittles.

bluebird-cafe-la-cakes This cute little café, unbeknownst to most, not only serves delicious food and knock-out cupcakes but they also throw fab wine tastings.  Tomorrow night’s event, hosted by Peter D. Kerr, the Wine Consultant, will sample wines under $15.00 along with some of Bluebird’s signature sweet treats and healthy nibbles. Local musicians set the scene with live music through out the event. Tickets are a budget friendly $29.00 and can be purchased here. Jonathan Gold of “LA Weekly” counts the Bluebird Café as one of Los Angeles Essential 99 Restaurants so it seems as if the consensus is a thumbs up all around. J and I will be there celebrating how much we love the IRS. We’ll be the ones hovering over the cupcakes with a wine glass in each hand. (Just kidding about the IRS part) but we really will be there. Come say a Paisley Petunia hello.
