Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Where for ART thou:
Two really cool options for finding your inner artist. This weekend is both the annual Venice Art Walk and Beverly Hills Affaire in the Garden. At the Venice Art Walk you can tour over 60 galleries, bid on over 400 pieces of art, eat, drink, dance and be merry all benefiting the Venice Family Clinic which provides free health care to those in need. Tickets are $50.00 but worth every penny.

The Beverly Hills Affaire in the Gardens Art Show May 16-17th has over 200 artists displaying and selling their work and they have a delicious bistro and wine garden. Running since 1973 this is one of the west coast’s most notable outdoor art shows. Admission is free.
Itsy Bisty Teeny….

You know the song about the yellow polka dot bikini, well just in case you are still looking for your inner bikini model check out Shape Magazine and Equinox Fitness’ Bikini Body Tour. All day long on Saturday, May 16 they will offer Equinox Fitness’ most popular classes BEACHSIDE by Life Guard Tower 4. For $10 you get your butt kicked, a tan and maybe a cool swag bag. Plus they have other fun beachy stuff like Victoria’s Secret model, Marissa Miller (in case you didn’t feel self-conscious enough already; just kidding I hear she is really nice and totally NOT judgmental.) Click here for the class schedule and more details.
World Tour:

Find your inner vegan/vegetarian/earth goddess/hippie/etc at the World Fest. The WorldFest 2009 Earth Day Festivalwill be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2009, from 10:30am to 7:00pm, at the beautiful outdoor setting of Woodley Park in Encino, CA. A magnificent day filled with entertainment, education and enlightenment. The combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kid’s activities and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience that is sure to be inspiring and enjoyable for all. All the enlightenment you can handle for $7.00 (kiddos 12 and under are freebies, mature adults are $5.00)
Home Sweet Home:

Help our friends find a new, permanent and loving home for their beloved pup, Jenny. I commend them for doing the responsible and compassionate thing by trying to find a better home for Jenny and NOT dumping her at the pound to face a frightening and uncertain future alone. Visit their website here to see if you might be the right fit for this special girl.
I close this birthday week with a big hug and kiss for all my friends and family who made turning @% a little easier. Love you all!
xoxo- your girl c
