Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Natural Beauty
When it comes to makeup, I am what they call clueless…all the colors and packaging are so pretty in the store display; I just have no idea what to buy. HELP! Thankfully my dear friend Jennifer is very patient and knowledgeable and has been helping since our high school days together.
Here are her picks for a healthy, happy and glowing summer {click on the image for more information and where to buy each product}:
Next swipe on some waterproof mascara (in a cute nautical inspired case) and off to the beach you go!
Jennifer also recommends the Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment for post-beach and swimming time, to rehabilitate your hair and it smells really yummy.
All of the items with a green seal earned Sephora’s internal natural beauty standards, meaning they contain no parabens or sulphates or stuff that is toxic and bad for you.
What are some of your favorite must-have summer beauty essentials?

Cute Blog! I found you through rockstar diaries. So here are my summer picks.
Skin:
*Kiehl’s Tinted Ultra Facial Moisturizer–lightweight moisture, tint means no foundation needed!
*Kiehl’s Calendula Toner –alcohol free, cuts redness in the skin, takes down shine.
*Roc Retinol Correction Eye Cream–it works like a charm but only use at night….retinol+sun=big mistake.
Makeup:
*Maybelline Collosal Mascara–so cheap and it goes on like butter
* Tarte Cheek Stain–these days i’m rockin’ “dolly”. doubles as a lip colour!
*MAC lusterglass in luminary–an oldie but a goodie.
Body:
Nivea Sun Kissed Body Firming Moisturizer-smells good, makes me look less pasty and costs 7 dollars. need i say more?!?
Thanks for checking out our blog, Mercedes!
I am a really big fan of tinted moisturizer too – I haven’t tried Kiehl’s but I love their stuff so its on my list now.
And yes, you can never go wrong with Sun Kissed Body Firming Moisturizer, a necessity.
Hope you have a lovely summer…xo
