It’s always the same for me…October is a whirlwind of social things. Philanthropic events, fashion week stuff, social events, work events-all those things you have to get glammed up for. This past October was crazy (crazy fun crazy) but now all I can think about are fresh baked pumpkin muffins and how I am going to set my Thanksgiving table. I just want to eat and bake and curl up with a book and blanket. I have almost completely abandoned my stilettos. No heels just Hunter boots and leggings from here on out.

I’m going to cook like crazy this weekend testing out my turkey day treats but based on my overindulgence in everything yum these last few weeks I am going to try something filed under the “healthy dessert” category. I know, sounds like a contradiction right? I found this Chocolate Pumpkin Bundt cake recipe on Delish so I’m giving it a whirl. We’ll see on Monday 1) how it tasted and 2) what else comes from a weekend in kitch.
