Thought we’d take a brief break from holiday-blogging and just talk about something awesome which we are so doing in 2010. Have you ever dreamed of being in the circus? Ok, well maybe not but how about flying through the air 23 ft above the ground gracefully latching onto your partners hands and completing a perfect trapeze maneuver. Sounds cool right?
Well, now you don’t have to run away and join the circus to experience the thrill of trapeze and trampoline arts. Just point your clown car west and head to the Santa Monica Pier for trapeze lessons at TSNY (Trapeze School of New York.) For $47 bucks and 2 hours you’ll learn the ropes (and swings and maybe even land a “catch”)
Their website says “forget about the fear, worry about the addiction” which I am guessing means you will really love doing this and likely want to spend most of your disposable income throwing yourself off a 23ft high platform (all against the gorgeous backdrop of the big blue Pacific Ocean.)
The Paisley Petunia Adrenaline Junkie Team is forming now for an expected Jan 2010 Trapeze Adventure. If you’re secretly plotting an exit from your day job to spend more time with the bearded lady or just want to try something new….let us know. We’re giving it a shot and group classes for 10 sound like the best way to make sure peer pressure gets us off the platform and sailing through the ocean breezes.

ugh — it’s invitaions like this one, the patisseie party I missed along with keeping up with your fun social life that I wished we lived in LA LA Land.
