Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Walkin’ in LA
My lunchtime walk is the best addition to my new work from home life. It’s just an extra super bonus that the weather in LA right now is perfect. In my neighborhood, everything is blooming. Seriously, the plants think it’s April. Between the smell of the fresh cut grass everywhere and the jasmine which is blooming like crazy it already feels like spring.
I decided to take my camera with me today to take some pictures of the flowers. I was just about to snap a shot of this house with the most amazing ornamental cabbage in their front yard when this woman came out of her house and yelled “get out of here! we don’t want any paparazzi in this neighborhood.” Only in LA my friends, only in LA.
I did manage a sneaky shot of the cabbage and a few other pretty things of the flora variety. PS: I love all these photo 365 blogs popping up and would love to have a link to them from our blog so if you’ve got one…email me. I’m so into the idea and would love to share your journey! c at paisleypetunia dot com

aw your photography is wonderful!
I can’t believe she yelled at you! Sheesh. Tough neighborhood.
Beautiful photos. You may just have another career blooming to add to your events planning
Those are simply stunning photos, I love each one. But the cranky neighbor lady needs to take a chill pill, honestly. Although come to think of it, when was the last time you were referred to as ‘paparazzi’? Heh-heh-heh.

Another “hat” to add to your collection…”paparazzi”! Next thing I know you will be tailing Paris Hilton! No……actually…I think you are more like Annie Leibovitz…..fabulous photos…you are a famed photographer in the works.
