Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!

I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.

It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Designer’s Challenge

If you follow me on Twitter you are probably aware of my long, sad but ultimately happy saga regarding my ghost chair. It took almost 4 months for it to finally arrive (the original company never did send the chair! What thieves!!) Anyways, the ghost chair is one part of a two room design project I have undertaken here at Bev Hills outpost of Chez Paisley.

Now, I am certainly NOT a designer and I have concluded we need to hire a professional for some parts of our house (namely the worlds largest beige foyer. Literally, the 30 ft high walls, the stone floor, the ceiling, everything is beige and it is a huge weird space. I am completely lost as to what to do with it.) But guest bedroom two and three are more manageable for a novice like myself.  I drool for the design styles of Kelly Wearstler and Eddie Ross and if I could have a Jonathan Adler piece in every room I would be in heaven, so I think you would say (despite the fact our house leans very modern Spanish -if there is there such a thing) my style runs Hollywood Regency-eclectic and my darling husband likes bachelor pad-barren. Conflicted much?  Uh, yeah bigtime.

I can’t show you any real pictures until the rooms are really finished but here is a little teaser of my palete for guest room two. Hopefully, it’s all finished by the end of the month and then I can have a grand unveiling.
