Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!

I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.

It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

National Pancake Day

I love Pancakes.

fun fun colorful pancakes from I am Mommy Blog*

I have always been a sweet breakfast person. As a child my favorite order was blueberry pancakes, topped with more blueberries and a scoop of blueberry ice cream on top, oh and a big dollop of whipped cream.

Today IHOP is offering free pancakes for everyone – and asking you to make a donation. Their goal is to raise $5Million in 5 years. Don’t you want to be a part of the Pancake eating fundraising fun? I’ll be there for dinner, if you’d like to meet up. Breakfast for dinner…oh yeah.

Here’s more information: http://www.ihoppancakeday.com/

Join IHOP to celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 23, 2010. From 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., we’ll give you one free short stack (three) of our famous buttermilk pancakes. All we ask is that you consider making a donation to support local children’s hospitals through Children’s Miracle Network, or other local charities.

*I am Mommy’s post caught a lot of flack in mean, judgmental comments from unsupportive readers. Please try to remember – if you don’t have something nice to say, please don’t say anything at all. I think making rainbow pancakes is awesome and you have my support! xoxo
