Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!

I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.

It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Love Above

In preparation for my best friend’s recent wedding, her mom reached out to close family and friends to each make a fabric square for the couple’s chuppah. In the Jewish religion, a chuppah symbolizes the home the couple will build together. She collected the squares and had them sewn together to make a beautiful quilt-like piece. As an extra touch, 4 Aspen trees were sent from their home state of Colorado, representing their childhood and families. Memories, stories, blessings, wishes and funny photos hung above them as they recited their vows.  It was a beautiful, heart-felt sentiment to add to an already very personalized wedding. I really loved this idea.

One of the best parts of this wedding is that it truly represented who the bride and groom are. They did everything their way and everyone had a wonderful time.
