Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Sweet Tart
I am loving all this sunny weather and the loads of delicious, seasonal fruits and veggies at the farmers market. The citrus and strawberries right now are just out of this world so I thought I might try a citrus dessert for a dinner party we hosted last week. I’ve never had key lime pie but I know people love it so I tried adapting Martha Stewart’s key lime recipe by replacing the lime with Satsuma tangerines. It took me two tries to get the crust and cooking time right but once I did…oh man was it good. It was like a creamy orangesicle in perfect graham cracker crust.
Click here for the original recipe. The only change I made was switching the lime juice for fresh squeezed tangerine juice.

I should not have read this when I am hungry. Seriously not have read it. Sigh.
It looks yumalicious, so glad you are able to buy fresh fruits and veggies!

I can personally testify that this was an utterly sweet, creamy + tangy dessert. Well done c! xoxo
Like the Princess said, I really shouldn’t read this type of post when I’m starving. How soon can you FedEx me one of those!
Enjoy that delicious California spring weather.
