This was first given to me by my cousins for my birthday. I love people who give makeup for gifts because I NEVER BUY IT FOR MYSELF (hint, hint). I am not much of a makeup person. Much to my good friend Jenny’s chagrin, I don’t know much about beauty products. Its a good thing I have her to rely on, as she’s worked at Sephora corporate for years now.
Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Everyone should go out and buy this now. It keeps your eyeshadow on, all day, everyday. And, theoretically if you were to forget to wash your face one night, you’ll see this product’s true power as your eye makeup will be good to go for another day. Not that I endorse that. $18 at Sephora. Totally worth it. I’ve bought it as gifts and re-purchased it as soon as I ran out, which means I truly like it. And this post was not sponsored, just wanted to share with you all.

I am so glad you mentioned me in your beautiful blog. Yes I LOVE primer potion and wear it every day. Also try SIN Primer Potion for a champagne/shimmery version or EDEN primer potion for a matte/color correcting version. Or try all three
Also, my favorite shadows to wear on top are Urban Decay matte shadow in cult! try it, its the perfect purple/greige shade.
Too Faced makes a great primer for eyeshadow as well. It’s in a squeeze tube, so you control how much you want easily.
And, of course, Smashbox is known for their iconic primer.
I haven’t tried some of the more natural primers out there, like Tarte or Bare Minerals. But, I am thinking about testing them out once I’m done with the Too Faced and Urban Decay tubes. Sephora has the best return policy anyway, so why not?
I have been a Urban Decay Potion ADDICT since it first came out! I use it everyday. I, for some reason, do not like the Sin color as much. The consistancy is different, but the color is nice.
Other faves include: MAC eyeliners and shadows (last all day) and Revlon colorstay lipstick (lasts twelve hours, 3 meals and then some!)
