Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Help Share the World’s Story on 10.10.10
One Day on Earth Participant Trailer from One Day On Earth on Vimeo.
I am excited to share the video for the One Day On Earth project. My friend Gina (who guest posted her story and photos here) just joined the production team and their goal it is to create an accurate picture of what daily life on this planet is like. They are enlisting individuals to document the shared human experience of twenty four hours on earth. And it all goes down on the historic date of 10-10-10.
One Day On Earth is bringing people together from all over the planet to answer the question:“If you could document something to share with the world, what would you film?”
So far, the participants range from Academy Award nominated documentary producers to NASA to school children of remote areas of the third world and nonprofits like Shine on Sierra Leone, Rally for Iraq and more.
Interested? Signup to participate at www.onedayonearth.org.
You can get involved by joining this online community of filmmakers, students, and inspired individuals who are partnering to film in every country in the world during the 24-hour period.
The event will culminate in the production of a monumental documentary and video archive with the hope that by capturing these human struggles and triumphs that unite us, there will be greater understanding and global empathy.
