Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.

Rock out for the Gulf Coast
{Chandeleur Islands Balloon Aerial Imagery from Grassroots Mapping}
My good friend Sloane moved to New Orleans late last year for a fresh start, new adventure and to be part of the strong social entrepreneurial community. She has truly embraced that city and it her. Since the oil spill disaster, Sloane and a team of wonderfully dedicated community members have worked hard to keep us posted on the real story as well as ways we can help our country and environment during this epic disaster.
I am excited to share a way that YOU can help: A series of nationwide benefit concerts will be held this Thursday, July 1st benefiting the fishermen & wildlife affected by the Gulf Coast Oil Spill called Gulf Coast Benefit Presents Coast to Coast (@gulfbenefit on Twitter).
So, its super easy. Go here, find an concert near you. Rock out, meet new friends and all the while 100% of the proceeds are going DIRECTLY to the Gulf Restoration Network (@healthygulf on Twitter) and their community-based effort called Gulf Future. There are over 50 locations participating, but if there is isn’t one near you and you want to get involved, contact Sloane at sloane@thecausemopolitan.com or Twitter @sloane. Any grassroots fundraising efforts will help.
The people, wildlife and wetlands affected need our support.
