Welcome to Paisley Petunia…part two!
I find inspiration in pretty pictures, endless possibilities in a bowl of Meyer lemons, the meaning of lifetime devotion in the wagging tails of our 3 rescue dogs, end-of- the-day bliss in a glass of red wine and now, the boundless, soul clutching meaning of life in the faces of my 2 little angels.
It's a happy, creative, joy-full life we've got here in the LA sun. Come play! Bring wine.
The Original Sartorialist
Before there was Scott Schuman, there was Bill Cunningham. Way, before.

Cunningham is the 80+ Schwinn-riding cultural anthropologist who for decades has been obsessively and inventively chronicling fashion trends and high society charity soirées for the New York Times Style section. I have written about Bill before, his weekly collages of street style, his familiar grandfatherly voice. There is great delight in the opening notes of his weekly video series, “On the Streets.”
Dum dum dum da da dum dum dum.

I was very excited to see that there is a film opening soon about Bill and his work. I think its really interesting how well known one blue coated man has become in the great city of New York (and beyond). It would be such a thrill to see him riding on the streets of Manhattan during one of my visits. I can’t wait to see it! Film opens March 16th.
